Wybrane formy sortowania mrozowego w strefie marginalnej Fláajökull (Islandia)

Autorzy zaobserwowali w morenach lodowca Fláajökull (Islandia) wiele form powstałych, wyłącznie lub częściowo, w wyniku procesu sortowania mrozowego. Formy podzielono na: gniazda wypełnione żwirem, pierścienie sortowane (pierścienie kamieniste), sieci sortowane i różnego rodzaju pasy sortowane takie jak: pasy glebowo-żwirowe i otoczakowo-żwirowe oraz bruzdy kamieniste. Odnotowano stadium rozwoju poszczególnych form oraz częstotliwość ich występowania na wałach morenowych różnego wieku.
