W artykule van Zuidama „Periglacial-like features in the Zaragoza region, Spain” (1976a) pojawiła się sceptyczna opinia na temat autentyczności struktur peryglacjalnych badanych przez Brosche (1971b) w dorzeczu Ebro. Aby wyjaśnić ten problem, autor niniejszego artykułu przeprowadził nowe badania, które doprowadziły go do wniosku, że wszystkie badane struktury mają charakter peryglacjalny. Wniosek ten opiera się na wynikach badań eksperymentalnych, przeprowadzonych przez polskich geografów i A. Pissarta (1970), a także na badaniach Rohdenburga i Meyera (1969).
