The Systemic Character and Organization of the State Pharmaceutical Inspectorate

The State Pharmaceutical Inspectorate was appointed to realize the tasks of a special inspection on the pharmaceutical market. It has a complex structure, based on the principles of centralization and deconcentration, and is made up of a central government administration authority – the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector, and territorial authorities – governors with the assistance of voivodship pharmaceutical inspectors. The object of this article is to present the systemic character of the authorities included in the State Pharmaceutical Inspectorate. It is also important to determine the content of the organizational and functional link connecting the entities carrying out the tasks of the Pharmaceutical Inspectorate because the legislator does not state the link expressis verbis. In addition, the internal organization of the State Pharmaceutical Inspectorate is presented. The summary of the article is an indication of the areas requiring the commencement of legislative work so that the bodies of the State Pharmaceutical Inspectorate perform in a real and proper manner the public tasks to which they are called.
