ORIGINAL TITLE: Relief “linéaire” – relief typique des régions de loess actuelles
The article discusses the specific features of landforms in loess areas, particularly the occurrence of a characteristic “linear” relief associated with the past activity of aeolian processes. The author points out that the parallel arrangement of valleys and ridges observed across vast areas of Europe and Asia represents a remnant of the aeolian cycle in the morphological history of these regions. This phenomenon is interpreted as evidence of the former dominance of wind action in shaping the terrain, traces of which remain visible even in the transformed loess landscapes
