Abstract

Two zones of periglacial structures occur in Napęków: bugor type and congelifluction. It is likely that periglacial processes associated with the last glaciation transformed the Riss terrace of the Belnianka Valley. Periglacial mass movement resulted in the blurring of the edges of both the plateau and the terrace. The present relief of this area is a gentle slope, continuously connected from above to the pediment surrounding a relatively steep elevation.
