ORIGINAL TITLE: Problèmes des structures périglaciaires dans les dépôts quaternaires en Basse-Silesie
The paper discusses the occurrence and characteristics of periglacial structures in Quaternary deposits of Lower Silesia. The author analyses their distribution, genesis and significance for reconstructing palaeoclimate and landform development. Field studies identified main types of structures, such as frost cracks, solifluction and involution forms. The role of aeolian and denudational processes in shaping periglacial surfaces, especially during the last glaciation, is emphasised. The study highlights the synchronicity between frost-wedge formation and loess accumulation under cold and dry climatic conditions. The results confirm the widespread presence of periglacial phenomena in the region.
