Praca przedstawia wyniki analizy minerałów ciężkich trzech serii lessów o różnym wieku w Nieledewie. Serie te charakteryzują się zróżnicowanymi proporcjami poszczególnych minerałów oraz różnymi ich wymiarami. Uzyskane wyniki i ich porównanie z innymi profilami lessowymi na Wyżynie Lubelskiej wskazują, że decydujący wpływ na to zróżnicowanie mineralogiczne ma facja lessu. Wpływ procesów wietrzenia w glebach kopalnych oraz w glebie współczesnej w lessach z Nieledewa jest stosunkowo słaby.
