Original title: Cryoexpulsion et cryoreptation en milieu limono argileux. Experimentation en laboratoire

Two experiments in laboratory concerning stone upfreezing in a clayish loam with a 12° slope are described. Both were performed in well drained conditions and show clearly the direct correlation between frost heaving buried vertical surface of the object and its speed of upfreezing. Most of the objects was extracted from the soil by frost pull in less than 7 gentle freeze-thaw cycles. No segregated ice occurred at the base of the objects. Because of the existing slope, the frostpulled objects were bent and laid by frostcreep on the soil surface in conformity with the main slope axe. This experimental approach allows a better understanding of periglacial sorting features
