The aim of the article is to analyze the phenomenon of social inequality in the realization of reproductive rights in Poland in a chosen dimension: the possibilities of women controlling their own fertility by women. It is based on an analysis of secondary data (legal acts, results of social research, reports, research reports, media coverage etc.). The research question was whether and how such variables as material status, age and place of residence differentiate women’s access to modern contraception. The starting point was the assumption of intersectionality – the intersection of individuals’ different social features that determine their life chances. The influence of selected variables on women’s procreative autonomy and the restrictive nature of reproductive politics in Poland was discussed.
